Chris Olson (ice Hockey)
Chris Olson (born July 4, 1964) is an American former professional ice hockey goaltender who was an List of Division I AHCA All-American Teams, All-American for Denver Pioneers men's ice hockey, Denver. Career Olson arrived at Denver Pioneers men's ice hockey, Denver when the program was in a lull. He split time in goal as a freshman while the team allowed more than five goals per game and finished 11 games below .500. Both Olson and the team improved after the inauspicious start and he became the team's primary starter as a sophomore. The Pioneers improved on the whole but were just a middling team in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association, WCHA. All of that changed in Olson's junior year. Denver started hot and ended up finishing atop their conference standings, their first title in eight years. New Hope, Minnesota
New Hope is a city in Hennepin County, Minnesota, United States and a suburb of Minneapolis. The population was 21,986 at the 2020 census. History New Hope was originally a farming community called Hope in Crystal Lake Township. American Hockey Coaches Association
The American Hockey Coaches Association was formed in 1947 in Boston. The founding members coached college ice hockey but membership has grown to include coaches at every level of the sport from youth hockey to professional ice hockey, although the organization maintains a focus on the collegiate game. Aside from its collaborative and community functions, the association also names several award winners each year, most significantly the college ice hockey All-Americans in both divisions and both genders.
