Christopher Connelly (September 8, 1941 – December 7, 1988) was an American actor, best known for his role as Norman Harrington in the successful prime time ABC soap opera '' Peyton Place''. He stayed with the series during its entire five-year run, from 1964 to 1969. Early life Connelly graduated from Missouri Military Academy in Mexico, Missouri. Career In addition to his aforementioned series-long run on ABC's ''Peyton Place'', Connelly guest-starred in 1973 on Lorne Greene's short-lived ABC crime drama ''Griff'', and in 1974, he starred in the television series '' Paper Moon'', with a young Jodie Foster playing his daughter. The series was based on the film of the same name but was cancelled after only a few months. The film version starred Connelly's former ''Peyton Place'' costar Ryan O'Neal — who had played Connelly's brother in the serial — and O'Neal's daughter Tatum O'Neal. Chris Connelly (born 1957) is an American sports and entertainment reporter who currently works for ESPN as a contributor to its '' E:60'' newsmagazine. He was also the interim editor-in-chief of Grantland.com, replacing Bill Simmons, before ESPN shuttered the site in October 2015. Connelly joined ESPN in 2001 to host the daily interview program ''Unscripted with Chris Connelly'', designed to be a more contemporary version of the long-running ''Up Close'' interview show which previously occupied the 5PM ET timeslot. The show, which premiered on the same day as ''Pardon the Interruption'', lasted only a few months before being replaced by an early '' SportsCenter'' and eventually '' Around the Horn''. Since the cancellation of ''Unscripted'', Connelly has reported and narrated the long-form human interest reports that air on '' SportsCenter'' on weekends. Chris Connelly (born 11 November 1964) is a Scottish musician and author who became famous for his industrial music work of the late 1980s and early 1990s, particularly his involvement with the Revolting Cocks and Ministry. He has since established himself as an alternative singer-songwriter, and continues to release solo albums, as well as perform on collaborations. Early years Connelly was born in Bruntsfield, Scotland to Michael and Sadie (née King) Connelly near the city centre of Edinburgh. Connelly's father died in a swimming accident early in his life, causing Chris to focus on artistic interests outside the home to help fill the void. Connelly's Scottish ancestry includes Irish descent through the Connellys and Murphys, who originally came from Ireland to Scotland. His mother's side, the Kings and the McCullochs, were from the Highlands and migrated to Glasgow in search of work. Christopher Lane Conley (born February 29, 1980) is an American musician who is the lead-singer/rhythm guitarist of the rock band Saves the Day. He was the only remaining original member as well as major artistic contributor throughout their career. In May 2021, Conley was faced with abuse and grooming allegations. In a statement posted on Equal Vision Records' social media accounts, Conley took responsibility for some of his actions named in the allegations. Background Conley formed a band with a group of classmates at Princeton Day School. The band was originally titled Indifference, but later renamed Sefler.
