Mark J. Berg is an American politician from Virginia. A member of the Republican Party, he was a member of the Virginia House of Delegates for one term, representing the 29th district. In the 2013 elections, he defeated the incumbent Republican and then defeated the Independent opponent Larry Yates. A retired doctor, Berg is affiliated with the Tea Party movement. Virginia General District Court
The Virginia General District Court (GDC) is the lowest level of the Virginia court system, and is the court that most Virginians have contact with. The jurisdiction of the GDC is generally limited to traffic cases and other misdemeanors, civil cases involving amounts of under $25,000. There are 32 GDC districts, each having at least one judge, and each having a clerk of the court and a courthouse with courtroom facilities. The GDCs are not courts of record, meaning that they do not keep detailed records of their proceedings and their decisions provide no precedent to be cited in other proceedings. Warren County is a U.S. county located in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The 2020 United States census places Warren County within the Washington-Arlington-Alexandria, DC-VA-MD-WV Metropolitan Statistical Area with a population of 40,727. William D. Wiley (born 1971) is an American politician and member of the Republican Party. In 2020 he was elected to the Virginia House of Delegates. He represents the 32nd district, comprising the city of Winchester, and parts of Warren and Frederick Counties in Virginia. Before his election to the House of Delegates, Wiley spent six years on the Winchester City Council.
