Choc7 () is a Taiwanese boyband group led by Ah Ben and is the second spin-off group of the Taiwanese variety show Mo Fan Bang Bang Tang (模范棒棒堂). Filming took place at Kuang-Fu High School located in Hsinchu City Taiwan and New Taipei Municipal San-Chung Commercial and Industrial Vocational High School located in New Taipei City Taiwan. The drama centers around high school students as they deal with their studies, growing up and interacting with different sexes while going through adolescents. Originally intended to have only 15 episodes, 5 episodes was added due to high ratings. Mandopop or Mandapop refers to Mandarin popular music. The genre has its origin in the jazz-influenced popular music of 1930s Shanghai known as Shidaiqu; later influences came from Japanese enka, Hong Kong's Cantopop, Taiwan's Hokkien pop, and in particular the campus folk song folk movement of the 1970s. "Mandopop" may be used as a general term to describe popular songs performed in Mandarin.
