Chip Hooper (American Agent)
Chip Hooper (March 15, 1962 – March 5, 2016) was a music industry agent, personally representing Phish and the Dave Matthews Band, and heading the Paradigm Talent Agency. Hooper was born in Miami, FL, but grew up in Glen Ellyn, Il. Hooper attended college at Southwest Missouri State University. He broke into the music industry initially booking the club scene in Chicago. He became associated with the Minneapolis-based Good Music Agency before hiring into the Carmel, California-based Monterey Peninsula Artists as an agent in 1988. He ascended to the head of the Paradigm Talent Agency after Paradigm acquired Monterey in 2005. Phish
Phish is an American rock band formed in Burlington, Vermont, in 1983. The band is known for musical improvisation, extended Jam session#Rock, jams, blending of Music genre, genres, and a dedicated Fandom, fan base. The band consists of guitarist Trey Anastasio, bassist Mike Gordon, drummer Jon Fishman, and keyboardist Page McConnell, all of whom perform vocals, with Anastasio being the lead vocalist. The band was formed by Anastasio, Gordon, Fishman and guitarist Jeff Holdsworth, who were joined by McConnell in 1985. Holdsworth departed the band in 1986, and the lineup has remained stable since. Phish began to perform outside of New England in the late 1980s and experienced a rise in popularity in the mid 1990s. In October 2000, the band began a two-year hiatus that ended in December 2002, but they disbanded again in August 2004. Glen Ellyn
Glen Ellyn is a village in DuPage County, Illinois, United States. A suburb located due west of downtown Chicago, the village has a population of 28,846 as of the 2020 Census. History Glen Ellyn, like the neighboring town to the east, Lombard, had its genesis in an 1833 claim by two brothers from the Finger Lakes region of New York, Morgan and Ralph Babcock. The two claimed property in a large stand of timber near present-day St. Charles Road and the East Branch of the DuPage River. The brothers also arranged for a claim for their New York neighbor Deacon Winslow Churchill, who arrived in 1834 along with some of his adult children and their families.
