Chintala Kanaka Reddy
Chintala Kanaka Reddy (10 February 1951 – 11 May 2019) was an Indian politician and legislator. He won as an MLA from Malkajgiri assembly constituency in Telangana Legislative Assembly. He belonged to Telangana Rashtra Samithi. Early life He was born in Lothkunta in Secunderabad to Satyamma and Muthyam Reddy, a farmer. He has two brothers and three sisters. His elder brother, Chintala Venkat Reddy, is an acclaimed, innovative organic farmer, who holds patents in soil swapping techniques using zero fertilizers in farming. Career He was a grape growing farmer and was the President of Grape Growers Association in Andhra Pradesh. Secunderabad, also spelled as Sikandarabad (, ), is a twin city of Hyderabad and one of the six zones of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) in the Indian state of Telangana. Malkajgiri also known as Mallikarjuna Giri (Anicent Name) is a suburb of Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It is located in Medchal–Malkajgiri district and also Sub-District in Medchal District is the headquarters of Malkajgiri mandal in Malkajgiri revenue division. Erstwhile Malkajgiri Major Grampanchayat was upgraded to a municipality in 1965 and became a municipal corporation in 1985. It was merged into the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation in 2007. Bharat Rashtra Samithi ( ; BRS), formerly known as Telangana Rashtra Samithi ( TRS), is an Indian political party which is predominantly active in the state of Telangana. It was founded on 27 April 2001 as by K. Chandrashekar Rao, with a single-point agenda of creating a separate Telangana state with Hyderabad as its capital. It has been instrumental in carrying forth a sustained agitation for the granting of statehood to Telangana. The Telangana Legislative Assembly or Telangana Śāsana Sabha is the lower house of the Telangana Legislature. The Legislative Assembly of Telangana currently consists of 119 elected members and 1 nominated member from the Anglo-Indian community. Its chief engineer was Nawab Sarwar Jung. Chintala Venkat Reddy
Chintala Venkat Reddy (born 22 December 1950) is an organic farmer known for his soil and nutrient management techniques in farming. He is the first independent farmer in India to receive an international patent for his technique in soil swapping and soil fertility. He also holds national patents to his name. He does not use chemical fertilizer, insecticide or fungicide in the farming of rice, wheat, and vegetables. He has won several awards at State and National level for his organic farming techniques. He was awarded a Padma Shri award in 2020 for his contributions. There is no restriction in using his soil techniques. The Praja Rajyam Party was a political party in India. Formation The first public meeting was held by Chiranjeevi on 26 August 2008, at Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh.
