Chinese Taipei Davis Cup Team
The Chinese Taipei men's national tennis team represents Taiwan in Davis Cup tennis competition and are governed by the Chinese Taipei Tennis Association. Chinese Taipei will compete in the Davis Cup Qualifiers in 2024. History Chinese Taipei competed in its first Davis Cup in 1972. Formerly They had achieved Asia/Oceania Zone Group I second round in 2005, 2006 and 2009. 1972 Davis Cup
The 1972 Davis Cup was the 61st edition of the Davis Cup, the most important tournament between national teams in men's tennis. 55 teams would enter the competition, 33 in the Europe Zone, 11 in the Americas Zone, and 11 in the Eastern Zone. From this year's tournament onward, the Challenge Round was abolished, meaning the defending champion would now play in all matches rather than receiving a bye to the final, and the winner of the Inter-Zonal Zone would win the Davis Cup. Hsu Yu-hsiou
Hsu Yu-hsiou ( zh, 許育修; born 2 April 1999) is a Taiwanese tennis player. He has a career high ATP singles ranking of world No. 158 achieved on 16 October 2023. He also has a career high ATP doubles ranking of world No. 149 achieved on 11 July 2022. Hsu is currently the No. 2 Taiwanese tennis player. Lu Yen-hsun
Lu Yen-hsun (; born 14 August 1983) is a Taiwanese coach and former tennis player, who goes by the nickname Rendy Lu. He won the most titles on the ATP Challenger Tour in tennis history. His favorite surface is hardcourt, though several of his ATP Tour career highlights came on grass, including reaching the quarterfinals of the 2010 Wimbledon Championships. Chen Ti
Chen Ti (; born 3 October 1983) is a Taiwanese professional tennis player. He is part of the Chinese Taipei Davis Cup team. He competes mainly on the ATP Challenger Tour and ITF Futures, both in singles and doubles. In singles, all of Chen's appearances in a final of a tournament have come at the ITF Tour level, where he has a record of 23 wins and 23 losses. The time from when he won his first title to when he won his most recent title spans 15 years, from September 2003 to July 2018. Hsieh Cheng-peng (; born 22 September 1991) is a tennis player from Taiwan. Alongside Yang Tsung-hua he won the 2008 Wimbledon Championships – Boys' doubles title.
