Xicheng, Beijing
Xicheng () is a district of the city of Beijing. Its cover the western half of the old city (largely inside the 2nd Ring Road; the eastern half is Dongcheng District, Beijing, Dongcheng District), and has 1,106,214 inhabitants (2020 Census). Du Qinglin (born November 1946 in Panshi, Jilin City, Jilin) is a politician of the People's Republic of China. He formerly served as vice chairman of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), and a Secretary of the Secretariat of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). From 2007 and 2012 he served as the head of the United Front Work Department of CCP Central Committee. Biography Du graduated from law department of Jilin University with a master's degree.
