Davide Ferrario (born 26 June 1956) is an Italian film director, screenwriter and author. Life and career Born in Casalmaggiore, Cremona, Ferrario graduated in Anglo-American literature, then he began to work in film distribution, and he contributed to import in Italy many indie films by John Sayles, Jim Jarmusch, Susan Seidelman, Godfrey Reggio. He also collaborated as a film critic with the cinema magazine ''Cineforum'', and he wrote a monograph about Rainer Werner Fassbinder. After collaborating on several screenplays, Ferrario made his directorial debut in 1987 with the short film ''Non date da mangiare agli animali'', and in 1989 he directed his first feature film, the neo-noir The End of the Night. His 2004 film '' After Midnight'' entered the Forum section at the 54th Berlin International Film Festival, in which Ferrario won the Caligari Film Prize and the Don Quixote Award. Valentina Cervi
Valentina Cervi (born 13 April 1976) is an Italian film and television actress. Cervi was born in Rome. She is the daughter of director Tonino Cervi and granddaughter of actor Gino Cervi. Her mother is the Italian producer of Austrian-Hungarian origin Marina Gefter. Cervi started her acting career at age ten in Carlo Cotti's 1986 film ''Portami la luna''. She also played an English-language role in Jane Campion's 1996 ''The Portrait of a Lady''. One of her most acclaimed roles was the lead in the 1997 film '' Artemisia'', directed by Agnès Merlet. Pietro Ghislandi (19 April 1957 – June 2025) was an Italian actor. Life and career Ghislandi was introduced to the public as a ventriloquist and was a finalist in the 1986/87 edition of the RaiUno program Fantastico 7 with his dummy Sergio. Diego Abatantuono (born 20 May 1955) is an Italian cinema and theatre actor, comedian and screenwriter, three-time winner of the Nastro d'Argento. Biography and career Abatantuono was born in Milan to a father of Apulian origin and a mother from Como. The latter worked as a wardrober in a Milanese jazz and later cabaret club, ''Derby'', whose owner was Abatantuono's uncle.
