Chief Minister's Camp Office
Telangana State Guesthouse formerly Chief Minister's Camp Office is a state guest house of the State Government of Telangana, India. The camp office is converted to Office of the Inspector General (security). The building is now part of Pragathi Bhavan, the official residence of the Chief Minister of Telangana. It is located in Greenlands circle, Begumpet. History It was formerly the official residence of the Chief Minister of Telangana and before bifurcation the official residence of Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (United). The camp office was built in 2004 after the Congress party came into power as the official residence of the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. The first Chief Minister to move in was Y. S. Konijeti Rosaiah (4 July 1933 – 4 December 2021) was an Indian politician who served as the 15th chief minister of United Andhra Pradesh from 2009 to 2010. He also served as the Governor of Tamil Nadu from 2011 to 2016 and the Governor of Karnataka (additional charge) for two months. He was previously an MLC, MLA and MP from the Indian National Congress numerous times and handled many ministerial posts over his long political career spanning over half a century. While serving as Governor of Tamil Nadu, he was also given additional responsibility as Governor of Karnataka when Governor H. R. Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao (born 17 February 1954), often referred to by his initials KCR, is an Indian politician serving as the first and current Chief Minister of Telangana since 2 June 2014. Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy (born 13 September 1959) is an Indian politician who served as the 16th Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh between 25 November 2010 and 1 March 2014. He was the last Chief Minister of the United Andhra Pradesh before the formation of the Telangana state on 2 June 2014.
