Chidi Obioma Ahanotu (born October 11, 1970) is an American former professional football defensive end in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at California and was selected in the 1993 NFL draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, for whom he would play in nine of his twelve professional seasons. Early life Ahanotu was born in Modesto, California to Nigerian father and a mother from Tuskegee Alabama, and was the middle son of three boys. Chidi Edeh (born 18 August 1987) is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays as a striker. He played most of his career for clubs in India. Chukwudi "Chidi" Imoh (born 27 August 1965) is a former sprinter from Nigeria who won an Olympic silver medal in the 4 x 100 metres relay at the 1992 Summer Olympics. He also won a silver medal in the 100 metres at the 1986 Goodwill Games, finished behind Ben Johnson and ahead of Carl Lewis. He won a 60 metres bronze medal at the 1991 World Indoor Championships, and he became African champion in 1984 and 1985. In 1986 he posted the world leading time for that year in the 100 metres. Chidi Francis Iwuoma (born February 19, 1978) is an American former professional football player who is a scout for BLESTO. He played as a a cornerback in the National Football League (NFL). Iwuoma played college football for the California Golden Bears before being signed by the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent in 2001. Chidi Nwanu (born 1 January 1967 in Port Harcourt) is a Nigerian former professional footballer who played as a centre-back. He won 12 caps for the Nigeria national team, and was part of the squads for the 1994 FIFA World Cup and the 1988 Summer Olympics. Lovina Sylvia Chidi (born 1971) is a German-born chess player. Biography Lovina Sylvia Chidi was born in Germany, spent her childhood in Nigeria, and later studied in England where she worked in information technology. She is a self-published poet and author.
