Chicago Fire Season 8
The eighth season of '' Chicago Fire'', an American drama television series with executive producer Dick Wolf and producers Derek Haas and Matt Olmstead, was ordered on February 26, 2019, by NBC. The season premiered on September 25, 2019. The season concluded on April 15, 2020. On March 13, 2020, the production of the eighth season was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Twenty episodes, of a planned 23, were completed. Derek Haas
Derek Haas (born June 30, 1970) is an American writer and producer. Life and career Derek Haas attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas, where he earned both his Bachelor of Arts, B.A. and Master of Arts, M.A. in English Literature. He lives in Los Angeles, and has made a name as a screenwriter and co-author of several successful Hollywood (film industry), Hollywood films. In 2008 he published his novel ''The Silver Bear'' about the young Contract killing, contract killer Columbus. The sequel ''Columbus'' was released in 2009, and in 2011, ''Dark Men'' was published to complete the Silver Bear trilogy. His fourth novel, ''The Right Hand'', was released in 2012.
