The Chechens ( ; , , Old Chechen: Нахчой, ''Naxçoy''), historically also known as '' Kisti'' and '' Durdzuks'', are a Northeast Caucasian ethnic group of the Nakh peoples native to the North Caucasus. Ingush People
Ingush (, pronounced ), historically known as ''Durdzuks'', ''Gligvi'' and ''Kists (ethnonym), Kists'', are a Northeast Caucasian languages, Northeast Caucasian ethnic group mainly inhabiting the Republic of Ingushetia in central Caucasus, but also inhabitanting Prigorodny District, North Ossetia–Alania, Prigorodny District and town of Vladikavkaz of modern-day North-Ossetia. The republics are one type of federal subjects of Russia, federal subject of the Russian Federation. Republic Of Chechnya
Chechnya, officially the Chechen Republic, is a Republics of Russia, republic of Russia. It is situated in the North Caucasus of Eastern Europe, between the Caspian Sea and Black Sea.
