elsieteTV (call sign LV 89 TV) is a television station broadcasting from Las Heras, province of Mendoza, Argentina. It carries programs from Channel 2 (La Plata) and is owned by Litoral Television Group. History Canal 7 Mendoza was established on April 28, 1958, when the National Executive Power, under Pedro Aramburu, granted a license to businessman Juan Gómez. The station, operated by Difusora Mendoza, officially launched on February 7, 1961, as LV 89 TV Canal 7. It was the first television station in western Argentina and among the earliest in the country’s interior, alongside Channel 8 in Mar del Plata. Throughout the 1960s, Canal 7 expanded its reach, installing repeaters in Tupungato (1963), Uspallata (1969), La Paz, and Cerro Diamante. Las Heras is a city in the province of Mendoza, Argentina, located in the north of the metropolitan area of the provincial capital (Greater Mendoza). It has more than 180,000 inhabitants as per the and is the head town of the department of the same name. Ultra high frequency (UHF) is the ITU designation for radio frequencies in the range between 300 megahertz (MHz) and 3 gigahertz (GHz), also known as the decimetre band as the wavelengths range from one meter to one tenth of a meter (one decimetre). The Ente () was the world's first full-sized rocket-powered aircraft. It was designed by Alexander Lippisch as a sailplane and first flown under power on June 11, 1928, piloted by Fritz Stamer as part of the Opel-RAK rocket program led by Fritz von Opel and Max Valier. During the late 1920s von Opel had made a variety of demonstrations involving rocket-powered vehicles for the Opel company. He was assisted by the pyrotechnics manufacturer Friedrich Sander and the rocketry advocate Max Valier. In March 1928 the three men visited the Wasserkuppe, a mountain which had become the center of German gliding to investigate the possibility of fitting rockets to an aircraft. ''Martín Fierro'', also known as ''El Gaucho Martín Fierro'', is a 2,316-line epic poem by the Argentine writer José Hernández.
