''Changing the Game'' is the only studio album by Rashawnna "Shawnna" Guy and Lateefa "Teefa" Harland together known as Infamous Syndicate. It was released on March 16, 1999, via Relativity Records. Production was handled by No I.D., Kanye West, Andy C., Echo, Mr. Khaliyl, and Shawnna's brother Michael Antonio "Icedrake" Guy. It features guest appearances from Big Nastee, Cap.One, Fatal, Franklin Williams Jr., Kanye West and Kia Jeffries. The album peaked at number 50 on the US ''Billboard'' Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and at number 18 on the Heatseekers Albums. Its lead single, " Here I Go", was also featured on '' The PJs: Music from & Inspired by the Hit Television Series''. Infamous Syndicate
Infamous Syndicate was an American hip hop duo from Chicago, comprising the female rappers Rashawnna "Shawnna" Guy and Lateefa "Teefa" Harland. History Rashawnna Guy and Lateefa met at Lateefa's 17th birthday party in 1997. After scoring local radio play with their demos, they signed with Relativity Records, who released their lone LP, '' Changing the Game'', in 1999. The album peaked at No. 50 on the ''Billboard'' Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and No. 18 on the Heatseekers Albums chart on the strength of the single " Here I Go", which reached No. 63 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and No. 8 on the Hot Rap Songs chart. The Heatseekers charts were "Breaking and Entering" music charts issued weekly by ''Billboard'' magazine. The Heatseekers Albums and the Heatseekers Songs charts were introduced by ''Billboard'' in 1991 with the purpose of highlighting the sales by new and developing musical recording artists. Albums and songs appearing on Top Heatseekers would also concurrently appear on the ''Billboard'' 200 or ''Billboard'' Hot 100. Rashawnna Guy (born January 3, 1978), better known by her stage name Shawnna, is an American rapper and singer from Chicago, Illinois. She is best known for her guest appearances on Ludacris' 2000 single " What's Your Fantasy", as well as his 2003 single " Stand Up"; the songs peaked at numbers 21 and one on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100, respectively. She signed with his record label Disturbing tha Peace, an imprint of Def Jam South to release her debut studio album, '' Worth tha Weight'' (2004) and its follow-up, ''Block Music'' (2006). Bruce Edward Washington Jr. (April 3, 1973July 10, 2015), better known by his stage name Hussein Fatal or sometimes as Fatal Hussein, was an American rapper, best known for his collaborative work with Tupac Shakur as a member of the rap group Outlawz. Staccato (; Italian for "detached") is a form of Articulation (music), musical articulation.
