Chan Ming Kong
Chan Ming Kong ( ; born 1 July 1985) is a Hong Kong football coach and former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He is currently the head coach of Hong Kong Premier League club Kowloon City. Club career Hong Kong 08 Chan started his senior football career in Hong Kong 08. He made his first ever Hong Kong First Division appearances in a match against Happy Valley on 9 October 2005. He made a total of 9 appearances in his first First Division season. Chan was the captain of the team at the beginning of the 2006–07 season, and played as the captain for 4 matches. He made 13 league appearances and scored 1 goal in a match against Kitchee on 10 September 2006, although the goal did not help the team to win the game. Citizen Chan joined Citizen after Hong Kong 08 was dissolved. Chan played his first league game for Citizen in a match against Rangers as a first XI, helping the team to win 4–0. The Hong Kong Senior Challenge Shield (), known commonly as the Senior Shield, is the Association football, football Single-elimination tournament, knockout inter-club competition held in Hong Kong and the List of oldest football competitions, fourth oldest football tournament in Asia. Eugene Petit Mbende Mbome (; born ) is a former Cameroonian-born Hong Kong professional footballer. Club career Hong Kong Sapling Mbome joined Sapling from Pegasus as a foreign player to help the team. On 22 November 2011, Mbome fainted before training and was taken to Princess Margaret Hospital. Hong Kong FA Cup () is a knockout cup competition in Hong Kong football, run by and named after The Hong Kong Football Association. The first edition of the competition was held in 1975, before then the cup was known as the Golden Jubilee Cup. The current season is the 51st edition of the event. 14 different teams have won the cup with 10-time champions South China being the most successful. In the first three years, the semi-finals and the finals were two-legged events. If the aggregate result was drawn, there would be extra time after the second leg. Hong Kong Football Association League Cup () was an annual football competition contested by clubs in the top-tier Hong Kong domestic football league. The cup was relaunched for the 2014–15 season after being discontinued in the 2012–13 season. However, it was discontinued again after the 2015–16 season.
