Champion (2019 Film)
''Champion'' is a 2019 Indian Tamil language, Tamil-language sports drama film written and directed by Suseenthiran. The film stars newcomers Vishwa, Sowmika Pandiyan and Mirnalini Ravi, Narain (actor), Narain, Manoj Bharathiraja, and Stun Siva play pivotal roles. The music for the film is composed by Arrol Corelli while cinematography is handled by Sujith Sarang. The film is produced by Raghavi under the production banner Kalanjiyam Cine Arts. Principal photography of the film commenced on 30 May 2018. The film had its theatrical release on 13 December 2019 and received mixed reviews. Suseenthiran
Suseenthiran is an Indian film director and screenwriter in Tamil cinema. He rose to fame with his directorial debut ''Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu'' (2009). Career Suseenthiran, who originally hails from a small village called Amarapoondi in Palani, Dindigul District, Dindigul, was always "crazy about films" like his father and his uncle, who had made a film years ago, that never got released. Though his family did not want him to become a director and "waste" his life on films, he was sure that he would be a filmmaker one day. To achieve his dream, he came to Chennai, when he was 18 years old and needed 12 years to make his first film. Suseenthiran had worked as assistant director to prominent filmmakers as Sabapathy Dekshinamurthy, S. D. Sabha and Ezhil, before turning an independent director. Mohan Rajan
Mohan Rajan is an Indian lyricist working on Tamil language films. Career Hailing from Valayapatti near Virudhunagar, Mohan Rajan arrived in Chennai in 2001, hoping to become a lyricist in the Tamil film industry. However, he failed to get a breakthrough and instead qualified himself by pursuing master's degree in Tamil literature and later media arts at Loyola College, Chennai. Mohan Rajan was launched as a lyricist by James Vasanthan during the making of '' Yathumaagi'' (2010).
