Challenge To White Fang
''The Return of White Fang'' ( it, Il ritorno di Zanna Bianca) is a 1974 Northern film. A sequel to ''White Fang'', it was directed, as was its predecessor, by Lucio Fulci, as part of a trend of films inspired by ''Call of the Wild'' (1972), which was a surprise hit in Italy. Two German productions in this trend were '' Hellhounds of Alaska'' and '' Cry of the Black Wolves'', both directed by Harald Reinl. Plot Set in the Yukon, Canada in 1899 around three years after the conclusion of the previous film, Mitsha (Missaele) (the young boy from the first White Fang movie), is now a pre-teenager working with his wolf-dog and two fur traders when Beauty Smith (John Steiner) and two henchmen appear and raid the traders camp shooting and killing all of them, including Mitsha, and escapes in a canoe with all their equipment. Lucio Fulci
Lucio Fulci (; 17 June 1927 – 13 March 1996) was an Italian film director, screenwriter, and actor. Although he worked in a wide array of genres through a career spanning nearly five decades, including comedies and Spaghetti Westerns, he garnered an international cult following for his giallo and horror films. Raimund Harmstorf
Raimund Harmstorf (7 October 1939 – 3 May 1998) was a German actor. He became famous as the protagonist of a German TV mini series based on Jack London's the Sea-Wolf (which was sold into many countries) and starred later on successfully in another German TV series based on Jules Verne's Michael Strogoff. Life Harmstorf was the son of a doctor from Hamburg. He started a sports career and soon became a regional master of the decathlon. He then studied medicine, later music and performing arts. From the beginning of the 1960s he started performing in smaller TV productions. His breakthrough was in 1971 with the TV series ''Der Seewolf'', based on Jack London's novel ''The Sea-Wolf'', where he played the evil-minded Captain Larsen. John Bartha
János Bartha (6 February 1915 – 1991), better known as John Bartha, was a Hungarian film actor who appeared primarily in Spaghetti Westerns in the 1960s and 1970s. He is probably most recognizable in western cinema for his role as the Sheriff who captured Tuco in the 1966 Sergio Leone film, '' The Good, the Bad and the Ugly''. Renato De Carmine
Renato De Carmine (25 January 1923 – 18 July 2010) was an Italian stage, film and television actor. After graduating at the Accademia Nazionale di Arte Drammatica Silvio D'Amico, De Carmine worked mainly on stage, notably at the Piccolo Teatro in Milan under the direction of Giorgio Strehler. Hannelore Elsner
Hannelore Elsner (; born Hannelore Elstner; 26 July 1942 – 21 April 2019) was a German actress with a long career in television and film. She first performed on stage in Munich, and later starred in popular films and television series such as '' Die Schwarzwaldklinik'' (''The Black Forest Clinic''), and as the lead character, Inspector Lea Sommer, in the series ''Die Kommissarin''.
