Rhapsody Of Fire
Rhapsody of Fire (formerly known as Rhapsody) is an Italian symphonic power metal band formed by Luca Turilli and Alex Staropoli, widely seen as a pioneer of the symphonic power metal subgenre. Since forming in 1993 as Thundercross, the band has released fourteen studio albums, two live albums, three EPs, and a Live DVD. Rhapsody of Fire is known for its conceptual lyrics that constitute a fantasy story throughout all of their albums from 1997 to 2011. After using the moniker of Rhapsody for nearly ten years, the band changed its name to Rhapsody of Fire in 2006 due to trademark issues. Arnsberg (; ) is a town in the Hochsauerland county, in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. Progressive Metal
Progressive metal (often shortened to prog metal) is a broad fusion music genre melding heavy metal music, heavy metal and progressive rock, combining the loud "aggression" and amplified electric guitar, guitar-driven sound of the former with the more experimental, cerebral or quasi-classical compositions of the latter. Power Metal
Power metal is a subgenre of heavy metal combining characteristics of traditional heavy metal with speed metal, often within a symphonic context. Alessandro "Alex" Staropoli (born 9 January 1970) is a keyboard player, composer, leader and co-founder of the Italian symphonic power metal band Rhapsody of Fire. ''Glory for Salvation'' is the thirteenth studio album by Italian symphonic power metal band Rhapsody of Fire. It was released on 26 November 2021 via AFM Records. The album is the second chapter of ''The Nephilim's Empire Saga''. It is the first studio album to feature Paolo Marchesich on drums. Background On April 6, 2020, Vocalist Giacomo Voli in an exclusive interview, had revealed that the band were working on the album. Voli said: The band later announced that the recording of the album had been completed on 24 September 2020, and were confirmed to be mixing the album with Sebastian "Seeb" Levermann in April 2021.
