Chairperson Of Inner Mongolia
The Chairperson of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region People's Government is the head of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and leader of the People's Government of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The chairperson is elected by the People's Congress of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and responsible to it and its Standing Committee. The chairperson is a provincial level official and is responsible for the overall decision-making of the regional government. The chairperson is assisted by an executive vice chairperson as well as several vice chairpersons. The chairperson generally serves as the deputy secretary of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional Committee of the Chinese Communist Party and as a member of the CCP Central Committee. You Taizhong (; 1918–1998) was a general of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. Biography He was born in Guangshan County, Henan in December 1918. He joined the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army in January 1931, the Communist Youth League of China in November 1933 and the Chinese Communist Party in June 1934. During the Second Sino-Japanese War, he was a brigade commander in the Eighth Route Army. He was later a division commander in the People's Volunteer Army. He was promoted to major general in 1955. Bu Xiaolin
Bu Xiaolin (; ; born August 1958) is a Chinese politician of Mongol descent. She had served as chairwoman of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region People's Government (equivalent of a provincial governor) from 2016 to 2021. She is the daughter of Buhe, a former chairman of Inner Mongolia, and the granddaughter of Ulanhu, the founding chairman of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and a Vice President of China.
