Chairman Of Tibet
The Chairman of the Tibet Autonomous Region People's Government is the head of the Tibet Autonomous Region and leader of the People's Government of the Tibet Autonomous Region. The chairperson is elected by the Tibet Autonomous Region People's Congress, and responsible to it and its Standing Committee. The chairperson is a provincial level official and is responsible for the overall decision-making of the regional government. The chairperson is assisted by an executive vice chairperson as well as several vice chairpersons. National Emblem Of China

Sanggyai Yexe
Sanggyai Yexe (; ) or Tian Bao (; 9 February 1917 – 21 February 2008) was a Chinese government official of Gyalrong descent. Tian was one of the first ethnic Tibetans to embrace communism and join Mao Zedong's army. Mao's army, and the People's Republic of China, later entered Tibet in 1951. Biography Tian Bao was born as Sangye Yeshi in Kham, a traditionally eastern region of Tibet which is now part of the Chinese province of Sichuan. Tian first encountered Mao Zedong's army in 1935 as it pushed through western China when he was eighteen years old. Mao was trying to escape Kuomintang government forces at the time. Tian joined Mao's army and became one of the few ethnic Tibetans who participated in the Long March, a retreat by Chinese Communist forces into northern China in 1935. Che Dalha
Che Dalha (; born August 1958), also romanized as Che Zala and Qizhala (), is a Chinese politician of Tibetan ethnicity who served as Chairman (Governor) of the Tibet Autonomous Region between January 2017 and October 2021. Originally from Yunnan province, he served as Party Secretary of the Tibetan capital Lhasa between 2012 and 2017. Since October 2017, he is the member of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party. Career Che Dalha was born in Zhongdian County, Yunnan (later renamed Shangri-La). He left school at age 10 to herd animals in his home village. He completed primary school and high school by teaching himself. Losang Jamcan, also spelled Losang Gyaltsen (; ; born July 1957), is a Chinese politician of Tibetan ethnicity who is currently a vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and the chairman of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of the Tibet Autonomous Region. Losang Jamcan previously served as the mayor of Lhasa, and later as the chairman of Tibet. Early life Losang Jamcan was born in Zhag'yab County, Chamdo Prefecture in eastern Tibet. Padma Choling
Padma Choling (; alternatively Pema Thinley, Pelma Chiley, Baima Chilin; zh , s = 白玛赤林; born October 1952) is a Chinese retired politician of Tibetan ethnicity. He was the eighth chairman of the Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR), but in January 2013, was replaced by his deputy Losang Jamcan. Later he served as the Tibet Autonomous Region People's Congress. As Chairman of TAR, Choling was the "most senior ethnic Tibetan in the regional government", though he was subordinate to the TAR Communist Party Chief Zhang Qingli, and later his successor Chen Quanguo. Qiangba Puncog, also spelled Champa Phuntsok (; ; born in May 1947) was the chairman of the government of Tibet Autonomous Region of China from 2003 until January 2010. He is of Tibetan ethnicity. He was most visible in public during the 2008 Tibetan unrest, receiving diplomats and journalists. Gyaincain Norbu (politician)
Gyaincain Norbu (; born June 1932) is a Tibetan politician in the People's Republic of China. He was the chairman of the Tibet Autonomous Region from 1990 to 1998. He was succeeded by Legqog. Biography In 1939, he studied at Batang Elementary School, and in 1945 at the Batang Normal School. In June 1950, he joined the People's Liberation Army as a member of the task force of the 18th Army Advance Detachment to Tibet.
