Chaandi
''Chaandi'' is a 2013 Indian film based on the 1957 short story,Mhais, by Marathi writer Purushottam Laxman Deshpande. ''Chaandi'' shows the chaos created by a buffalo, when she comes under a street bus which is going to Mumbai from a small village in Konkan. What follows is a chaotic drama comedy, between the owners of the buffalo and the passengers in the bus, which depicts typical demeanour, nature and attitude of the Marathi manoos in konkan and local politics. Bhalchandra Kadam (born 3 March 1970), popularly known as Bhau Kadam, is a Marathi theatre and film actor. He is known as a comedian, particularly when working in commercial Marathi cinema and drama. Ramesh Deo (30 January 1926 – 2 February 2022) was an Indian film and television actor who worked in more than 285 Hindi films, 190 Marathi films and 30 Marathi dramas with over 200 showings in his long career. He also produced feature films, television serials and over 250 ad films. He also directed a number of films, documentaries and television serials. Pradeep Shantaram Patwardhan (8 February 1958 – 9 August 2022) was an Indian actor and comedian who predominantly worked in the Marathi theatre. His role in Marathi play Moruchi Mavshi led him to stardom.
