Cephalon
Cephalon, Inc. was an American biopharmaceutical company co-founded in 1987 by pharmacologist Frank Baldino Jr., Frank Baldino, Jr., neuroscientist Michael Lewis, and organic chemist James C. Kauer—all three former scientists with the DuPont Company. Baldino served as Cephalon's chairman and chief executive officer, until his death in December 2010. Shift work sleep disorder (SWSD) is a circadian rhythm sleep disorder characterized by insomnia, excessive Somnolence, sleepiness, or both affecting people whose work hours overlap with the typical sleep period.
