Catch The Heat (film)
''Catch the Heat'', also known as ''Feel the Heat'', ''Sin escape'' and ''Narcotraficantes'', is a 1987 Argentine-American action comedy film directed by Joel Silberg and written by Stirling Silliphant. It stars Tiana Alexandra, David Dukes, Rod Steiger and Brian Thompson. It was also released with the alternative titles ''Sentir la persecución'' ("Feel the Chase") and ''Misión: Alto riesgo'' ("Mission: High Risk"). Synopsis Checkers, a police officer who is very skilled with martial arts (and has a technique of her own) disguises herself as a showgirl/dancer to infiltrate a South American drug ring, while at the same time she unwittingly strikes up a relationship with Waldo, an undercover special agent who carries the same goal. Héctor Olivera (born 5 April 1931) is an Argentine film director, producer and screenwriter. Olivera worked mainly in the cinema of Argentina, but also has directed or contributed to several films made for the United States market. Biography He began his career when he was seventeen as a second assistant director and founded his own production company in 1956 at age twenty-five. He has produced over 100 features. In the United States he is known for two of his films: '' Night of the Pencils'' (1986) and '' Funny Dirty Little War'' (1983). Roger William Corman (born April 5, 1926) is an American film director, producer, and actor. He has been called "The Pope of Pop Cinema" and is known as a trailblazer in the world of independent film. Don Torcuato is a town in the Tigre Partido of the urban agglomeration of Greater Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is named after Marcelo Torcuato de Alvear, ex-President of Argentina, as he had his ranch and residency there. Most of the streets are named after his immediate family and his governmental staff. Alejandro Bustillo (18 March 1889 – 3 November 1982) was an Argentine painter and architect who left his mark in various tourist destinations in Argentina, especially in the Andean region of the Patagonia. Biography Born in Buenos Aires, son of María Luisa Madero and Dr. José María Bustillo, he completed his secondary school studies at Otto Krause Technical School. He later entered the School of Architecture at the University of Buenos Aires, where he also excelled as a painter, earning a first prize at the 1912 National Salon of Painters for a self-portrait. Technicolor is a series of color motion picture processes, the first version dating back to 1916, and followed by improved versions over several decades. Definitive Technicolor movies using three black and white films running through a special camera (3-strip Technicolor or Process 4) started in the early 1930s and continued through to the mid-1950s when the 3-strip camera was replaced by a standard camera loaded with single strip 'monopack' color negative film. Technicolor Laboratories were still able to produce Technicolor prints by creating three black and white matrices from the Eastmancolor negative (Process 5).
