Catalan Football Federation
The Catalan Football Federation (, ; FCF) is the Association football, football association responsible for administering football in Catalonia. It was formed on 11 November 1900 as the Football Associació de Catalunya (). It was the first football association founded in Football in Spain, Spain. The first president was Eduard Alesson and the original members included FC Barcelona, Català SC, Hispania AC and RCD Espanyol, Sociedad Española de Football. Between 1903 and 1940, the federation organised the Catalan football championship, Campionat de Catalunya, the first league championship ever played in Football in Spain, Spain. Since 1904, the federation has also organised the Catalonia national football team. Today, the federation continues to organise its own club competition, the Copa Catalunya. Royal Spanish Football Federation
The Royal Spanish Football Federation (; RFEF) is the governing body of football in Spain. Founded on 29 September 1913, it is based in La Ciudad del Fútbol of Las Rozas de Madrid, Las Rozas, a municipality near Madrid. RFEF organizes the national cup competitions (Copa del Rey, Copa de S.M. el Rey and Supercopa de España) and administers the competition committee of the Campeonato Nacional de Liga (La Liga, Primera División and Segunda División), including the handling of the trophy, even though they are organized by Liga de Fútbol Profesional, LaLiga. It organizes the rest of national league tiers: Primera Federación (3rd), Segunda Federación (4th) and Tercera Federación (5th). Isidro Lloret
Isidro Lloret Massaguer (1880–1922) was a Spanish footballer, referee, and a lawyer specializing in municipal law and the first director of the of the Provincial Deputation of Barcelona, created in 1914. He was also a director of X Sporting Club and then president of the Catalan Football Federation between December 1906 and 1908. Football career Lloret was a member of RCD Espanyol until 1905 when the club had to suspend its activities due to a lack of players since most of them were university students who enrolled to study at universities outside Catalonia in the 1905–06 academic year. Like him, most of Espanyol's players joined X Sporting Club, such as Emilio Sampere, Ángel Ponz, and goalkeeper Pedro Gibert. Ricardo Cabot (footballer)
Ricardo Cabot Montalt (4 April 1885 – 2 May 1958) was a Spanish footballer, sports journalist, manager, and sports director. A lawyer by profession, he was one of the pioneers in Spanish football legislation and played a key role in the legalization of professionalism. Cabot was also one of the pioneers of sports journalism in Spain, working with several sports magazines. He was the coach of the Spain national team in 1925, and he held the presidency of the Catalan Football Federation twice, in 1915 and again from 1923 to 1926. He was also a member of the Catalan Sports Confederation and the Spanish Olympic Committee, honorary president of the Spanish Football Federation and a member of merit of FC Barcelona. José Maria Tallada
José Maria Tallada Paulí (9 July 1884 – 1 July 1946) was a Spanish economist, professor, politician, demographer, and sports leader. He was a director of the ''Banco de Vizcaya'', a university professor, and a deputy in the Parliament of Catalonia for the Regionalist League. He published several works throughout his life, including volumes on economics, urban planning, sociology and statistics, being the introducer to Catalonia of Taylorism, statistical analysis, and the methods of the German historical school in social sciences. However, he is best remembered for his stint as the secretary and treasurer of the Spanish football club RCD Espanyol, from which he played a key role in the signing of Ricardo Zamora. Narciso Masferrer Sala (26 April 1867 – 9 April 1941) was a pioneer of Catalan sports, sports journalism, and Olympism throughout Spain.
