Caroline Louise Beavan Johnson (' Symonds; born 17 March 1988) is an English media consultant and is married to Boris Johnson. She is the daughter of Matthew Symonds, co-founder of ''The Independent.'' Symonds worked as a Conservative Party media official and an environmental activist, and remains a senior advisor to the ocean conservation charity Oceana, and is a patron of the Conservative Animal Welfare Foundation. She began an affair with Johnson, then Foreign Secretary, in 2018 while he was still married to his second wife, Marina Wheeler. In July 2019, Johnson became Prime Minister and both he and Symonds officially moved into the flat above 11 Downing Street. She was the first unmarried partner of a prime minister to reside at Downing Street. On 29 February 2020, Symonds and Johnson announced that they had become engaged in late 2019. Carrie Ann Johnson (born January 16, 1984) is an American sprint canoer who has competed in the individual and team Canoeing events at the 2004, 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics Career Johnson was coached by Stein Jorgensen and competed in both 200 m and 500 m distances. She trained in San Diego. She was a surprise qualifier for the US team for the Athens Olympics, and was the youngest member of the US's canoeing and kayaking team. At the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, she was eliminated in the semifinals of both the K-1 500 m and the K-4 500 m events. In the K-4 500 m her teammates were Kathy Colin, Lauren Spalding and Marie Mijalis. At the 2005 ICF Sprint Canoe World Championships, Johnson finished 8th in the K-1 500 m and 8th in the K-1 1000 m. Carrie Ashton Johnson (, Ashton; August 24, 1863 – March 3, 1949) was an American suffragist, editor, and author. Through her writing, she was involved in the Women's suffrage in the United States, suffrage and Temperance movement in the United States, temperance movements of the day. Johnson was affiliated with the Illinois Woman's Press Association for five decades. She was also a co-founder of the Children's Home of Rockford, Illinois. Johnson died in 1949. Early life and education Carrie May Ashton was born in Durand, Illinois, August 24, 1863. Her parents were Andrew, a dry goods merchant, and Mary A. Ashton.
