Carlyle Atkinson (4 December 1892 – 5 August 1968) was an English competitive swimmer who represented Great Britain at the 1912 Summer Olympics in Stockholm, Sweden. Carlyle Eubank is an American writer and screenwriter. His 2014 film '' The Signal'', starring Laurence Fishburne, Brenton Thwaites, and Olivia Cooke, premiered at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival and was released in US theaters on June 13 by Focus Features. Background Eubank attended Amherst College where he majored in English and Literature. He has drawn inspiration from his studying of literature, saying in an interview that he is especially influenced by the "weird, idiosyncratic characters in the Russian canon". Frank Carlyle Harmon (January 17, 1905 – March 25, 1997) was an American former head of fabrics research for Johnson and Johnson. He is best known for his patent, held jointly with Billy Gene Harper of Dow Chemical, that made the possible the production of modern "superabsorbent" disposable diapers. Carlyle Deon Mitchell (born 8 August 1987) is a Trinidadian former international footballer who played as a centre back for the Trinidad and Tobago national football team. Club career Born in Arima, Mitchell began his career in the TT Pro League with Joe Public in 2008. Carlyle Witton-Davies (10 June 1913 – 25 March 1993) was an Anglican priest and scholar. He was born the son of T. Witton-Davies, Professor of Hebrew at the University College of North Wales, Bangor and educated at Friars School, Bangor; University College of North Wales, Bangor; Exeter College, Oxford;and Ripon College Cuddesdon.
