Carlton Vale is a street that runs through Kilburn, London, Kilburn and Maida Vale in London. Some of its route forms the boundary between the City of Westminster to the south and the London Borough of Brent to the north. Carlton is a village in the south of the City of Leeds metropolitan borough in West Yorkshire, England, about 6 miles (13 km) from Leeds city centre. Geography Carlton has a Wakefield WF3 postal address. Carlton was previously part of Rothwell Urban District. Carlton is a village in the Metropolitan Borough of Barnsley in South Yorkshire, England. It is situated between the villages of Athersley and Royston. The village is split into two parts, one half in the Monk Bretton ward and the rest in the Royston ward of the Barnsley MBC. It was built up on coking and coal mining industries and now has one of the largest industrial estates within the surrounding area. In the industrial estate lies a glass recycling plant, called Rexam. To its east stands the Mr Kipling cake factory, owned by Premier Foods. Until 1974 it was in the West Riding of Yorkshire. Carlton, Selby
Carlton is a village and civil parish in southern North Yorkshire, England. The village is situated approximately south-east of the town of Selby on the A1041 road. The parish had a population of 1,934 at the 2011 Census, an increase from 1,829 at the 2001 Census. Carlton was part of the West Riding of Yorkshire until 1 April 1974, when it became part of the Selby District of the new ceremonial county of North Yorkshire. Carlton is a village in the civil parish of Carlton Town in the county of North Yorkshire, England. According to the 2011 Census it had a population of 232. Carlton Town, the formal name of the civil parish, distinguishes the parish from the adjacent civil parish of Carlton Highdale, historically part of the manor of Carlton. The village is in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, near the River Cover in Coverdale (dale), Coverdale. From 1974 to 2023 it was part of the district of Richmondshire, it is now administered by the unitary North Yorkshire Council. Carlton is the largest village in Coverdale and it has a public house, The Foresters Arms, and a village hall. It was also home to the "Coverdale Bard", Henry Constantine, and an 1861 inscription in his memory is above the entrance to Flatts Farm.
