Çərəkən () is a village in Horovlu administrative-territorial unit of Jabrayil district, Azerbaijan, located on a plain, 3 km northeast of the city of Jabrayil. Etymology Village's name is derived from the words "chara" (Azerb. Çərə), meaning “pasture” and "kand (Azerb. kənd), meaning “village”. Thus, oikonym means “a village founded on a pasture site”. The sound "d" was subsequently omitted from the name of the village. History The village was founded in an area called "chere". During the years of the Russian Empire, the village of Charakanlu (Charakan) was part of Jabrayil district (later - Karyagin) of Elizavetpol province. During the Soviet years, the village was part of Jabrayil district of Azerbaijan SSR. The village was captured by Armenian forces in the First Karabakh War and was destroyed. Javanese Script
Javanese script (natively known as ''Aksara Jawa'', ''Hanacaraka'', ''Carakan'', and ''Dentawyanjana'') is one of Indonesia's traditional scripts developed on the island of Java. The script is primarily used to write the Javanese language and has also been used to write several other regional languages such as Sundanese and Madurese, the regional lingua franca Malay, as well as the historical languages Kawi and Sanskrit. It heavily influenced the Balinese script from which the writing system for Sasak developed. Javanese script was actively used by the Javanese people for writing day-to-day and literary texts from at least the mid-16th century CE until the mid-20th century CE, before it was gradually supplanted by the Latin alphabet. Today, the script is taught in the Yogyakarta Special Region as well as the provinces of Central Java and East Java as part of the local curriculum, but with very limited function in everyday use. Presto was the browser engine of the Opera web browser from the release of Opera 7 on 28 January 2003, until the release of Opera 15 on 2 July 2013, at which time Opera switched to using the Blink engine that was originally created for Chromium. Presto was also used to power the Opera Mini and Opera Mobile browsers. Presto is a dynamic engine. Web pages can be re-rendered completely or partially in response to DOM events.
