Capitol Music Group Sweden is a Swedish music company which forms part of Universal Music Group, Universal Music Sweden. The company was formed following Universal Music Sweden's full ownership acquisition of Lionheart Music Group. The company consists of several record labels as well as operations in music production and publishing, artist management, and live-entertainment production. The same trademark is used by an unrelated United States–based Capitol Music Group, also of Universal Music Group, which in turn is based upon, and consists of, the American label Capitol Records. Capitol Records Group Sweden also operates its own "Capitol Records Sweden" label proper. Maria Haukaas Mittet (née Storeng, born 3 August 1979) also known as simply Maria is a Norwegian recording artist. She gained national recognition in 2004 for her participation in the '' Idol'' reality television series, and international recognition in 2008 as Norway's representative in the 53rd Eurovision Song Contest. Biography Maria was born in Finnsnes, but grew up on the island of Senja, in Troms county, Norway. Anne-Lie Rydé (born 17 October 1956 in Stockholm) is a Swedish pop and rock singer. Early life and Music career Rydé grew up on Lidingö, but moved to Gothenburg in 1976. There she played with the Gothenburg-based band Extra from 1978 to 1983. She moved back to Stockholm in 1983 and broke through as a solo artist that year with the eponymous album "Anne-Lie Rydé." Her first hit was ''"Segla på ett moln"'' (Sail On a Cloud), written by Per Gessle. Anne-Lie Rydé was visually inspired by Punk and Nina Hagen, but musically she played rock. She wrote a number of songs herself. The Poodles
The Poodles were a Swedish hard rock band formed by singer Jakob Samuel (a.k.a. Jake Samuels), bass guitarist Pontus Egberg, guitarist Pontus Norgren, and drummer Christian Lundqvist. The band's songs include " Metal Will Stand Tall" and " Night of Passion", the latter of which was performed in 2006 in Melodifestivalen, the annual music competition to decide the Swedish entry to the Eurovision Song Contest. Jill Anna Maria Johnson (born 24 May 1973) is a Swedish country and pop singer, songwriter and TV-host. She performed in the Melodifestivalen 1998 contest, winning with the song " Kärleken är" ("Love Is"), and represented Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest 1998 with that song, which finished 10th with 53 points. Brandur Helgason Enni (born 15 April 1989), is a Faroese singer, songwriter, composer, and musician. He plays guitar, trumpet, piano and flugelhorn. In August 2006, he moved to Sweden, where he studied music for two years at the Music Production Academy "Musikmakarna".
