The Canção Nova (English: ''New Song'') is a Brazilian Catholic community founded by Monsignor Jonas Abib in 1978, following the lines of Catholic Charismatic Renewal. Headquartered in the city of Cachoeira Paulista (SP), it occupies an area of 372,000 m2 and has a long-range radio and television system, extending to other countries such as Portugal, Italy, Israel, France and Paraguay. Cachoeira Paulista
Cachoeira Paulista is a municipality in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. It is part of the Metropolitan Region of Vale do Paraíba e Litoral Norte, in the Guaratinguetá Microregion. It is located at latitude 22º39'54 "south and longitude 45º00'34" west, being at an altitude of 521 meters. Its estimated population in 2020 was 33,581 inhabitants. It has as bordering cities Cruzeiro to the north, Silveiras to the east, Lorena to the south and west and Canas to the southwest. Cruzeiro ( Portuguese meaning the Southern Cross, the Brazilian national symbol) is a municipality in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. It is located about from the state capital. Alberto Taveira Corrêa
Alberto Taveira Corrêa (born 26 May 1950) is a Brazilian prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. He served as auxiliary bishop of Brasília from 1991 till 1996, when he became archbishop of Palmas. In 2009 he became archbishop of Belém do Pará. Biography Born in Nova Lima on 25 May 1950, Taveira Corrêa was ordained to the priesthood of Belo Horizonte on 15 August 1973. After several years as pastor of Nossa Senhora do Pilar in Nova Lima and chaplain of the local hospital, he served from 1978 to 1984 as Rector of the major seminary while also filling assignments as coordinator of vocation ministry, member of the Presbyteral Council and of the College of Consultors. Rufus Pereira (5 May 1933 – 2 May 2012) was a Catholic Church, Roman Catholic Priesthood in the Catholic Church, priest, author of publications on spiritual life, Doctor of theology and exorcist. Biography Born in Bandra, a suburb of Mumbai, India, he was ordained a priest in 1956. He received his doctorate in Biblical Theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome. Fábio De Melo
Fábio José de Melo Silva, better known as Padre (Father) Fábio de Melo (April 3, 1971), is a Catholic priest, artist, writer, university professor and presenter. He belonged to the Congregation of the Priests of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. He acts in the Diocese of Taubaté, in the interior of the State of São Paulo. As a singer, he recorded eight albums for the Paulinas-COMEP Catholic record label, one for the record company Canção Nova, an independent project (Tom de Minas). His first record for a secular record company, Vida, was released by LGK Music and by Som Livre, with whom he continues to record, having already released two more albums (Iluminar and Eu e tempo – CD and DVD) by the end of 2009. Gabriel Benedito Issaac Chalita (born 30 April 1969 in Cachoeira Paulista) is a Brazilian lawyer, jurist, professor, writer and politician, member of the Democratic Labor Party (PDT). Servant of God Léo Tarcísio Gonçalves Pereira, SCJ (Delfim Moreira, state of Minas Gerais, October 9, 1961 – São Paulo, January 4, 2007), better known as Father Léo, was a Brazilian priest of the Congregation of Priests of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (Dehonian). Fátima, Portugal
Fátima () is a city in the municipality of Ourém and district of Santarém in the Central Region of Portugal, with 71.29 km2 of area and 13,212 inhabitants (2021). The homonymous civil parish encompasses several villages and localities of which the city of Fátima is the largest. The civil parish has been permanently associated with Our Lady of Fátima, a series of 1917 Marian apparitions that were purportedly witnessed by three local shepherd children at the Cova da Iria.
