''Can't Stop'' is a demo album featuring music recorded by American singer Ashanti. The album was first released in 2004 and then on January 25, 2006 in United States. It was re-released multiple times under different labels throughout 2007. It was released on May 31, 2012 for digital download in United Kingdom only. Background and release "Can't Stop" features material that Ashanti (born Ashanti Douglas) recorded on July 15, 1997. The tapes resurfaced in September 2004 and was re-mixed and mastered by Genard Parker and Ernie Lake. Ashanti claims she recorded the material for demo-shopping purposes and never intended the recordings to be released to the public. "I was just a teenager following my dreams when I signed with Parker. Me and my mother went to his house to work on some songs hoping to launch my career. Union Label Group is a record label based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It was formed through the merger of the smaller labels Stomp Records, 2112 Records, and Tyrant Records. Mayday! Records was later created as a genre imprint. Stomp Records was founded in 1994 by Matt Collyer of The Planet Smashers and Jordan Swift of The Kingpins. The label specializes in third wave ska, and was founded to release ''All-Skanadian Club Volume 1'', a compilation of ska and ska punk from across Canada. ''Collectables by Ashanti'' is a remix compilation album by American R&B- pop singer Ashanti, released in 2005. It is the last Murder Inc. release to be distributed by Def Jam. Background The album, which consists of six remixes of past singles and four new tracks. The album had a parental advisory, but a "clean" version was also released. Commercial performance The album debuted and peaked at number 59 on the ''Billboard'' 200. The album also became Ashanti's fourth to reach the Top 10 on ''Billboards Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, peaking at number 10. "Still on It", the only single released from the album, was a commercial disappointment, peaking at number 55 on the Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart and failing to enter the Hot 100 altogether.
