Cambodia's Next Top Model (season 1)
''Cambodia's Next Top Model, Season 1'' is the first installment of an upcoming reality television show hosted by Yok Chenda in which a number of women compete for the title of ''Cambodia's Next Top Model'' along with the chance to begin their career in the modeling industry. The other three judges are Kouy Chandanich, Remy Hou, and Chem Vuth Sovin. The show's first season included 50 semi-finalists, which were revealed on a weekly basis in clusters of five on the show's official Facebook page. The same was done for the revealing of the top 35. Fifteen finalists were selected to move on to the main competition. Casting calls and auditions were held in Cambodia from May through June 2014. Contestants were required to be between the ages of 18 and 27, and meet a minimum height requirement of 1.65 meters (5 ft 5 in, excluding the Maltese adaptation of the ''Top Model'' franchise, this is the lowest height cut-off in any adaptation). Pailin
Pailin ( km, ប៉ៃលិន, ) is a province in western Cambodia at the northern edge of the Cardamom Mountains near the border of Thailand. This province is surrounded by Battambang province, and was officially carved out of Battambang to become a separate administrative division after the surrender of the Ieng Sary faction of the Khmer Rouge in 1996. Pailin is known to much of the world for having long been a stronghold of the Khmer Rouge, remaining under their control long after they were defeated in 1979 and serving from 1994 to 1998 as the capital of the Provisional Government of National Union and National Salvation of Cambodia. Senmonorom
Senmonorom ( km, សែនមនោរម្យ; ) is the capital of the province of Mondulkiri, Cambodia. It is the only major town in the province. The town has over 10,000 inhabitants, and is often compared to frontier towns in the old American west. Senmonorom (and the Mondulkiri province in general) is inhabited by the indigenous Bunong people. Bunong tribesmen and tribeswomen are often seen walking along major highways. The town is popular with NGO workers, loggers, and tourists both from outside Cambodia and from Cambodia's capital Phnom Penh. Koh Kong (city)
Khemarak Phoumin ( km, ក្រុងខេមរភូមិន្ទ, lit. 'Royal Khmer'), also Koh Kong ( km, ក្រុងកោះកុង), is the capital and largest city of Koh Kong Province in Cambodia. It is near the mouth of the Kah Bpow river in Smach Mean Chey District on the Gulf of Thailand. The city lies only 10 kilometres from the Thai border. It is 138 kilometres by Highway 48 to National Highway 4 at Sre Ambel and a further 133 kilometres to Phnom Penh.
