California State Assembly
The California State Assembly is the lower house of the California State Legislature (the upper house being the California State Senate). The Assembly convenes, along with the State Senate, at the California State Capitol in Sacramento, California, Sacramento. Neither house has been expanded since the ratification of the California Constitution, 1879 Constitution, and each of the 80 members represent at least 465,000 people, more than any other state lower house, and second largest of any lower house in the United States after the federal United States House of Representatives, House of Representatives. Members of the California State Assembly are generally referred to using the titles Assemblyman, Assemblywoman, or Assemblymember. California State Legislature
The California State Legislature is the bicameral state legislature of the U.S. state of California, consisting of the California State Assembly (lower house with 80 members) and the California State Senate (upper house with 40 members). California State Capitol
The California State Capitol is the seat of the California state government, located in Sacramento, the state capital of California. The building houses the chambers of the California State Legislature, made up of the Assembly and the Senate, along with the office of the governor of California. The Neoclassical structure, designed by Reuben S. Clark, was completed between 1861 and 1874. Located at the west end of Capitol Park and the east end of the Capitol Mall, the building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. Hollister is a city in and the county seat of San Benito County, located in the Central Coast region of California, United States.
