Plumas County () is a county located in the Sierra Nevada of the U.S. state of California. As of the 2020 United States census, the population was 19,790. The county seat is Quincy, and the only incorporated city is Portola. The largest community in the county is East Quincy. The California Citizens Redistricting Commission is the redistricting commission for the California, State of California responsible for determining the boundaries of districts for the California State Senate, State Senate, California State Assembly, State Assembly, and State Board of Equalization (California), Board of Equalization. The commission was created in 2010 and consists of 14 members: five Democratic Party (United States), Democrats, five Republican Party (United States), Republicans, and four from neither major party.
