Cage Warriors Fighting Championship
Cage Warriors (CW) is an Irish-owned mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion company based in London, England. The promotion was established in 2001 and staged its first MMA event in London in July, 2002. Many MMA stars have made their names under the Cage Warriors banner, including Conor McGregor, Michael Bisping, Paddy Pimblett, Gegard Mousasi, Tom Aspinall, Antônio Silva, Ian Machado Garry, Martin Kampmann, Dan Hardy, Joe Duffy, Cathal Pendred, Neil Seery, and Dennis Siver. CW are one of the few top promotions to take their events abroad, travelling throughout countries in Europe, North America and the Middle East. Mixed martial arts (MMA) is a full-contact fighting combat sport, sport based on strike (attack), striking and grappling; incorporating techniques from various combat sports from around the world. In the early 20th century, various inter-stylistic contests took place throughout Japan and the countries of East Asia. Dennis Siver
Dennis D. Siver (Russian: Дмитрий Сивер, tr. Dmitriy Siver, born January 13, 1979) is a retired Russian-born German mixed martial artist who competed in the welterweight, lightweight, and featherweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Siver is currently teaching martial arts in his hometown, Mannheim. Background Siver was born in Omsk, the Soviet Union to a family of Soviet citizens of German descent. Siver began training in Sambo and Judo when he was 15 years old and, at 17, moved to Germany where he continued his training with Taekwondo and Kickboxing. Next Level Sports is an American sports-oriented cable and satellite television channel. The network also operates an online presence under the alternate brand For the Fans (FTF). Sportklub, formerly rendered as Sport Klub, is a subscription sports television service which is broadcast in Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina since 2006, Croatia from 2007 and North Macedonia from 2011. Rosi Sexton
Rosemary Ann Sexton (born 16 July 1977) is a British politician, mathematician, sports therapist, osteopath, and former mixed martial artist. Sexton obtained a degree in mathematics from the University of Cambridge in 1998, before later obtaining a Master of Science in mathematical logic in 2000 from the University of Manchester and eventually a PhD in theoretical computer science. Viasat is a direct broadcast satellite, satellite and pay television brand, founded in Sweden in 1991. Viasat has previously been owned by Modern Times Group, Modern Times Group (MTG). Viaplay Xtra was a British sports television channel operated and owned by Viaplay Group. History Viaplay Xtra launched as FreeSports on 31 August 2017 and was closed down on 25 January 2024 with the aim to provide free-to-air sports coverage and become a top three dedicated sports channel in the UK.
