Café Del Mar (song)
"Café del Mar" is a song first released in 1993 by the trance project Energy 52. It is named after the famous bar located in Ibiza, Balearic Islands, Spain. Almost instantly recognisable by its distinct melody, its popularity is reflected in the countless remixes that have since been created as well as its being featured on hundreds of CD compilations. The main melody of "Café del Mar" is based on "Struggle for Pleasure" by Belgian composer Wim Mertens. The song has charted two times on the UK Singles Chart, with both releases featuring remixes by Three 'N One. It first made number 24 in March 1997, and a second release ("Café del Mar '98") featuring a Nalin & Kane remix reached number 12 in July 1998. Marco Verkuylen (, born 3 April 1967 in Heeswijk-Dinther), who performs under the name Marco V and alias Vision 20/20, is a Dutch electronic music DJ. He is considered to be a pioneer of tech trance and one of the most important trance artists. "It Feels So Good" is a song by British singer Sonique from her album '' Hear My Cry''. It was originally released on 9 November 1998 and peaked at number 24 on the UK Singles Chart. He is the founder of the imprint label Diffused Music, which was established in 2010 and focuses primarily on progressive house and tech house. Deepsky is an electronic music act based in Los Angeles. Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Deepsky was formed in 1995 by J. Scott G. and Jason Blum after the dissolution of their first band Q, active from 1992-1995. Its two founding members met originally at the University of New Mexico. The music project Solarstone was founded in 1997 as a trio, and also used the pseudonyms Young Parisians, Liquid State and Z2.
