Cachorro
''Bear Cub'' ( es, Cachorro) is a 2004 Spanish comedy-drama film co-written and directed by Miguel Albaladejo. The plot follows a bearish gay man who ends up looking after his nephew while his sister goes away to India and in turn makes him develop a fatherly bond with the boy, while forcing him to change his lifestyle. The Spanish word ''cachorro'' describes any young, furry animal such as a cub or puppy. Plot As a favor to his hippie sister who has gone off to India, Pedro, a gay dentist, has agreed to look after his nine-year-old nephew, Bernardo. Bernardo's father is dead and the boy and his uncle have not had much to do with each other until now. Originally, the boy was to stay with Pedro for a few days, but six weeks have passed with no word from the boy's mother. Dark Panther (born 1998) is the ring name of a Mexican ''luchador enmascarado'' (or masked professional wrestler), currently working for the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). He portrays a '' tecnico'' ("Good guy") wrestling character. His real name is not a matter of public record, as is often the case with masked wrestlers in Mexico where their private lives are kept a secret from the wrestling fans. He is the son of Genaro Vazquez Nevarez, better known as Blue Panther, and is a brother of wrestler Blue Panther Jr. and Chachorro Lagunero. Cachorro Grande (Portuguese for "''Big Dog''") was a Brazilian rock band from Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul. In 2003, the music video for "Lunático" was nominated for Best New Artist at the 2003 MTV Video Music Brazil. In 2007 they won the MTV Video Music Brazil for Best Live Performance. Original bassist Jerônimo "Bocudo" left the band in 2005. He was then replaced by bassist Rodolfo Krieger. In 2018, guitarist Marcelo Gross was replaced by Gustavo X, but soon afterwards rejoined the band for their farewell tour the following year. Gerardo Horacio López von Linden (born 3 March 1956), known professionally as Cachorro López, is an Argentine record producer, musician and songwriter. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, he enrolled in various musical ensembles, including Zas and Los Abuelos de la Nada. López has worked with several artists producing their albums, including Caifanes, Stephanie Salas, Andrés Calamaro, Paulina Rubio, Diego Torres and Miranda!. López also was the executive producer of the tribute album for the English band Queen in 1997. His work has been recognized with two Latin Grammy Awards for Producer of the Year in 2006 and 2009, out of four consecutive nominations, and a Grammy Award for producing ''Limón y Sal'' by Julieta Venegas. Pedro Jacobo Contreras (born October 10, 1955) is a semi-retired Mexican ''Luchador'' or professional wrestler best known under the ring name Cachorro Mendoza. Cachorro Mendoza means "Cub Mendoza" in English and refers to the fact that he is the youngers of the Mendoza brothers Ringo, Indio and Freddy all of whom are ''Luchadors''. Over the years he's worked extensively for Empresa Mexicana de Lucha Libre (EMLL) and the Universal Wrestling Association (UWA), often teaming with his brothers, especially Ringo Mendoza. ''Los Cachorros'' (''The Cubs'') is a 1973 Mexican film drama directed by Jorge Fons and written by Fons, Eduardo Lujan, José Emilio Pacheco based upon the novel ''The Cubs and Other Stories'' by Peruvian writer Mario Vargas Llosa. Plot It tells the story of a group of friends that stand by each other well into adulthood. The film starts innocently enough when young Cuellar (12-years-old) enters a new school. He immediately makes friends with 4-other youngsters. One day after soccer practice while taking a shower, a vicious dog is let loose and it severely mauls him devouring his genitals. He is as a result maimed for life and this novel uses his development into adolescence and later into adulthood to explore the problems he faces.
