2010 Spruce Meadows Masters
The 2010 Spruce Meadows 'Masters' Tournament was the 2010 edition of the CSIO Spruce Meadows 'Masters' Tournament, the Canadian official show jumping horse show at Spruce Meadows (Calgary, Alberta). It was held as CSIO 5*. With over $2 million in prize money it is the one-week horse show with the highest prize money in the world. The first edition of the Spruce Meadows 'Masters' Tournament was held 35 years ago in 1976. Olivier Philippaerts (born 1993) is a Belgian show jumping rider. He is a native of Genk, Limburg, Belgium. He is the son of Ludo Philippaerts and twin brother of Nicola Philippaerts, both show jumping riders as well. Scott Brash
Scott Brash MBE (born 23 November 1985) is a Scottish showjumper. He began riding the horse Hello Sanctos in early 2012. They competed as part of the British Team at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London winning a gold medal in the team jumping event. In 2015 he became the first rider to win show jumping's Rolex Grand Slam, all three of the sport's most prestigious events in a single year, earning the sport's biggest individual prize of 1m Euros (£735,000). Elizabeth Madden (née Patton; born 20 November 1963) is an American Olympic champion equestrian competing in show jumping. She has two Olympic golds and one silver in team jumping, and an individual bronze. Steve Guerdat (born 10 June 1982) is a Swiss equestrian who competes in the sport of show jumping. He is the 2012 Olympic Champion in individual jumping. He also won the bronze medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics in team jumping following the disqualification of Norwegian rider Tony André Hansen. In July 2012, Guerdat was ranked third in the world. In 2019 he was the first in the FEI ranking for the whole year. In January 2020 he was second in the FEI ranking, just behind the other swiss rider Martin Fuchs.
