CFL Coach Of The Year Award
The Annis Stukus Trophy is a Canadian Football League trophy, which is presented annually by the Edmonton Eskimos Alumni Association to the Coach of the Year, as determined by the members of the Football Reporters of Canada. The Trophy is named after former player, coach, and general manager Annis Stukus. The Stukus Trophy was typically the last trophy to be awarded in the CFL season, which was awarded at league meetings several months after the season had ended. Additionally, three coaches were nominated for the award, regardless of division. In 2015, the format changed so that there was a West and an East division representative and the award was given during Grey Cup week. The Canadian Football League (CFL; , LCF) is a Professional gridiron football, professional Canadian football league in Canada. Saskatchewan Roughriders
The Saskatchewan Roughriders are a professional Canadian football team based in Regina, Saskatchewan. The Roughriders compete in the Canadian Football League (CFL) as a member club of the league's West Division. The Roughriders were founded in 1910 as the Regina Rugby Club. Although Saskatchewan was not the first team to play football in Western Canada, the club has maintained an unbroken organizational continuity since their founding. Tom Higgins (Canadian Football)
Thomas Joseph John Higgins Jr. (born July 13, 1954) is an American football coach and former player who is the defensive coordinator for the Calgary Colts of the Canadian Junior Football League (CJFL). He has previously served as the Director of Officiating for the Canadian Football League (CFL) and is a former Canadian and American football player, head coach, and general manager. Richard Kent Austin (born June 25, 1963) is an American college football coach and former professional player who is the quarterbacks coach for Auburn University. James Barker (born August 25, 1956) is a football executive and coach. He is currently employed by TSN as a CFL panelist. His most recent employment in Canadian football was a senior advisor for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Barker has been the general manager of the Calgary Stampeders from 2005 to 2007, and the Argonauts from 2011 to 2016. Wally Buono
Pasquale "Wally" Buono (born February 7, 1950) is a Canadian ex-football coach currently working as the vice president of football operations, alternate governor and the former head coach of the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League (CFL), and one of the most successful head coaches in league history. He spent 22 years as head coach of the Calgary Stampeders and the Lions, which is tied for the most seasons coached all-time. Corey Jermaine Chamblin (born May 29, 1977) is an American football coach who is the defensive coordinator and safeties coach for the Birmingham Stallions of the United Football League (UFL). He was previously the defensive backs coach for the San Antonio Brahmas. John Coleman Hufnagel (born September 13, 1951) is an American special advisor for the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He has previously served as the Stampeders' President, General Manager, Head Coach, and Offensive Coordinator. He played quarterback for fifteen professional seasons in the CFL and National Football League (NFL). Rick Campbell (born December 20, 1970) is an American-Canadian professional football coach who is the special teams coordinator for the Ottawa Redblacks of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was the Calgary Stampeders' defensive coordinator from 2012 to 2013 and was also an assistant coach with the Edmonton Eskimos and Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
