CE Vilassar De Dalt
Club Esportiu Vilassar de Dalt is the main football club in the town of Vilassar de Dalt. It was founded in 1921 from the merger of the two teams that were in the village, Esbart and Centro de Sports. Following the local town celebrations, the old sand Vilassar stadium was built. It gave way in 2006 to a modern stadium with artificial turf and capacity for approximately 2000 people. The club has a total of 200 players from the young squads to the first team. Vilassar de Dalt () is a village in Catalonia, Spain, in the province of Barcelona and the ''comarca'' of Maresme. The name comes from the Roman name ''Villa Azari'', later changed to ''Vilassar''. The Primera Catalana is the 6th tier of the Spanish football league system and the highest league in the autonomous community of Catalonia. The league was formed in 1991 to replace Regional Preferent as the first level of Catalonia and was split into 2 groups in 2011. Primera Catalana is one of 19 regional premier leagues in Spanish football. Structure The league comprises 48 teams (3 groups of 16 teams).
