Bugs Bunny is a cartoon character created in the late 1930s at Warner Bros. Cartoons (originally Leon Schlesinger, Leon Schlesinger Productions) and Voice acting, voiced originally by Mel Blanc. Bugs is best known for his featured roles in the ''Looney Tunes'' and ''Merrie Melodies'' series of animated short films, produced by Warner Bros. ''Encyclopedia Brown'' is a series of books featuring the adventures of boy detective Leroy Brown, nicknamed "Encyclopedia" for his intelligence and range of knowledge. The 29 books in the children's literature series were written (one co-written) by Donald J. Sobol, with the first book published in 1963 and the last published posthumously in 2012. In addition to the main books, the ''Encyclopedia Brown'' series has spawned a comic strip, a TV series, and compilation books of puzzles and games. Plot In the near future, due to huge demand for protein, synthetic protein is rapidly developed around the world. James, a fanatic geneticist, has managed to raise superbugs that can provide high-quality protein at low-cost. However, the reproduction of the bugs goes out of control. They break out of the tubes, devour scientists, and turn into giant monsters. Numerous monster bugs hankering after men's flesh and blood swarm into the sea. ''Bugs'' is a British television drama that ran for four series from 1 April 1995 to 28 August 1999. The programme, a mixture of action/adventure and science fiction, involved a team of independent crime-fighting technology experts, who faced a variety of threats involving computers and other modern technology. It was originally broadcast on Saturday evenings on BBC One, and was produced for the BBC by the independent production company Carnival Films. In July 2014, London Live, a local digital terrestrial station in London, began airing a complete rerun from Series 1. All four series (40 episodes) were available to stream in the UK on Britbox until Britbox UK ceased operations in April 2024 with its content migrating to ITVX; however, Bugs was not a part of that migration. ''New Looney Tunes'' (originally titled ''Wabbit: A Looney Tunes Production'' in the United States, and ''Bugs!'' in some markets for its first season) is an American animated television series from Warner Bros. Animation based on the characters from ''Looney Tunes'' and ''Merrie Melodies''. The series debuted on September 21, 2015, on Cartoon Network, and continued with new episodes beginning on October 5, 2015, on Boomerang (TV network), Boomerang. Part way through the first season, new episodes would premiere on Boomerang's video on demand service before airing on television. On November 24, 2017, the Boomerang streaming service announced that ''New Looney Tunes'' would continue into 2017, with the third season being the show's last.
