Brunswick High School is a State school, public Secondary school, high school in Brunswick, Maine, United States. It is a part of the Brunswick School Department. History Although a private school operated under the same name in the 1840s, Brunswick High School was founded as a public school in 1851Wheeler, 473-474 as a part of a school consolidation and restructuring effort. In its over 150-year history, the school has occupied three sites within Brunswick. The first high school was located within a larger school building at the corner of Federal and Green Streets (now 46 Federal Street). Hawthorne Elementary School was subsequently located at 46 Federal Street until its closure in 2010. Its most recent use is as the central office for the Brunswick School Department. Brunswick High School (BHS) is an American public high school located in Brunswick, Frederick County, Maryland, United States. The school serves the communities of Brunswick, Burkittsville, Jefferson, Knoxville, Point of Rocks, and Rosemont. There have been plans to demolish the current building and to build a new high school nearby. Overview The school is near the Virginia border near the Potomac River, just off of Maryland Route 464, and a couple miles southeast of U.S. Route 340. The current building was constructed in 1965. Brunswick School is a private, college-preparatory school for boys in Greenwich, Connecticut, United States. It was founded in 1902 by George B. Carmichael. History Brunswick School was founded in 1902 by George B. Carmichael. The school is a college preparatory day school serving approximately 1,020 boys in grades pre-kindergarten through 12. Brunswick was scheduled to take over the former Carmel Academy, which closed its school operations in 2020. South Brunswick High School (North Carolina)
South Brunswick High School is a high school within the Brunswick County School District in Southport, North Carolina. The principal is Dr. Brad Lewis. The school is currently the smallest of the three traditional high schools in Brunswick County Schools. The Cougars compete in the NCHSAA MEC 3A/4A conference and are the smallest school in the conference. After Hurricane Florence the schools enrollment dipped to below 1,000 students for the first time since the early 2000s. The storm caused students to miss schools for around a month and caused much damage to both the school and the community. The school has just recently recovered from COVID-19 pandemic and, as of the 2022-2023 school year, removed the majority of COVID-19 restrictions.
