Bravo (band)
Bravo () is a rock and roll band founded in 1983 in Moscow, Russia, by guitarist Evgeny Khavtan. Biography Drawing heavy inspiration from 1950s western music, Bravo was a part of the Soviet rock and roll revival of the 1980s, along with Secret (Russian band), Secret. Their first album was made in 1983. Despite the fact that at that time rock and roll and beat music (except for The Beatles) were less popular among Soviet citizens than classic rock, the band was one of the most popular underground acts in Russia in the 1980s, until the departure of original lead singer Zhanna Aguzarova in 1988. Since then, Bravo has achieved success with several different singers, Valeriy Syutkin (1990–1994) and Robert Lenz (since 1996). In 2011, after a ten-year break from studio recordings, Bravo released an album, ''Fashion'' ('), which received highly positive reviews from critics and good attention from younger audiences. 7Bravo is an Australian free-to-air digital television multichannel, which was launched by the Seven Network under license from NBCUniversal International Networks on 15 January 2023. The channel contains programming from NBCUniversal's American networks, including Bravo, E! and Oxygen, along with entertainment and talk show programming from NBC and its American broadcast syndication division. History On 25 October 2022, it was announced that Seven would be launching a new channel, 7Bravo, on 15 January 2023, featuring content from NBCUniversal, timing with the announcement of the wind-down of Foxtel's domestic version of E! on 31 January 2023 at the end of their NBCU output deal. Bravo is a supermarket chain with stores in the northeastern and southeastern United States. The store carries Krasdale Foods brands. The company's headquarters are in New York. It focuses on an Hispanic clientele. The company launched the El Sabor de tu Pais ("The Flavor of your Country") advertising campaign. In the early 1990s, many independently owned Bravo stores opened in New York City. Bravo is a midsize supermarket. Bravo is a digital radio trunking operator in Saudi Arabia. Now part of the incumbent operator Saudi Telecom Company, it was originally a separate company known as Public Telecom Company under a BOT agreement with STC. It was launched in 2005 using Motorola's proprietary iDEN technology operating on the SMR-800 frequency band. Bravo-Telecom's focus is professional radio service to the corporate and governmental sector, with no consumer-centric prepaid offering because the network is in partnership with the incumbent operator STC which runs its own GSM and 3G network under the commercial name of ''Aljawal'' which primarily addresses this sector. The other two cellular operators launch a PTT service similar in function to the one offered by Bravo through its digital trunking network, but the former companies used a technology called PoC for this service. Bravo was the first WYSIWYG document preparation program. It provided multi-font capability using the bitmap displays on the Xerox Alto personal computer. It was produced at Xerox PARC by Butler Lampson, Charles Simonyi and colleagues in 1974. Overview Bravo was a modal editor—characters typed on the keyboard were usually commands to Bravo, except when in "insert" or "append" mode, in which case they were entered into the character buffer. Bravo made extensive use of the mouse for marking locations in the text, as well as selecting areas of the text, but it was not used for command entry. (Being at the very dawn of graphical user interface design, a non- command driven interface was judged too ambitious and possibly even inefficient and cumbersome.) The Bravo Award was an annual award which was handed out by the Italian magazine ''Guerin Sportivo'' to the most outstanding young European Association football, footballer. The ''Buso Renkin'' anime and manga series features an extensive cast of characters created by Nobuhiro Watsuki. The series takes place in the fictional Ginsei City, Japan, where a boy named Koshaku Chouno is creating alchemical monsters known as homunculi. During a night, Kazuki Muto, an ordinary boy, is killed by a homunculus, while trying to save Tokiko Tsumura. Feeling guilty, Tokiko, a member of the Alchemist Army, revives him by replacing his heart with an alchemical device called kakugane. The kakugane allows its wielder to form a buso renkin, a special weapon that is the only thing that can destroy a homunculus. With his own buso renkin, Kazuki decides to join Tokiko in the fight against the homunculi.
