Boktai
''Boktai'' is a video game series created by Hideo Kojima and published by Konami. The series consists entirely of portable games for the Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS, and is notable for its unique inclusion of a built-in solar sensor required for gameplay. The final game in the series made use of the solar sensor optional, and did not include one by default. The series revolves around vampire hunters who must use sunlight-based weaponry to combat evil undead creatures. ''Boktai 2: Solar Boy Django'', also known as ''Zoktai'' , is a video game that was developed and published by Konami for the Game Boy Advance. Released in North America and Japan in 2004 and in Europe in 2005, it is the sequel to '' Boktai: The Sun Is in Your Hand''. ''Lunar Knights'', known in Japan as and abbreviated ''Boktai DS'', is an action role-playing video game and the fourth title in the '' Boktai'' series of video games developed by Kojima Productions. The game was revamped to remove the necessity of using the real-life solar sensor due to player troubles, but it still retains the functionality if any of the Game Boy Advance ''Boktai'' cartridges are inserted.
