Bohbot Kids Network (more commonly referred to and on-screen as BKN, originally known as Amazin' Adventures until 1997) was a children's programming block operated by Bohbot Entertainment (later BKN, Inc.) that aired on syndicated television stations from 1992 to 2000. History Amazin' Adventures (1992–1997) On September 13, 1992, Bohbot Entertainment launched ''Amazin' Adventures'', a syndicated programming block that aired for two hours on Sundays. Byrne Enterprises sold barter for the block. In August 1996, Bohbot announced that in addition to the standard Sunday block, an additional block titutively titled ''Amazin' Adventures Anthology'' would also be broadcast. ''Beakman's World'' is an American educational children's television program. The program is based on the Universal Press Syndicate syndicated comic strip '' You Can with Beakman and Jax'' created by Jok Church. The series premiered on Wednesday, September 16, 1992, on TLC, and three days later on September 19, began a concurrent run in weekly syndication on 220 television stations across the United States through an agreement with Columbia Pictures Television Distribution (whose indirect successor, Sony Pictures Television, currently maintains domestic and international distribution rights to the series). ''Mighty Max'' is an animated action/ horror television series created by Mark Zaslove and Rob Hudnut based on the British Mighty Max toys, an outgrowth of the Polly Pocket line created by Bluebird Toys in 1992. The series originally aired in syndication as part of a children's block titled Amazin' Adventures, premiering on September 1, 1993 and ending on December 2, 1994 with a total of 40 episodes over the course of 2 seasons. Plot The series follows Max, an adventurous teenage boy who receives in the mail a small statue of a fowl, inscribed with Egyptian hieroglyphs whereof the translation states: "You have been chosen to be the cap-bearer. Syndication exclusivity (also known as syndex) is a federal law () implemented by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the United States that is designed to protect a local television station's rights to syndicated television programs by granting exclusive broadcast rights to the station for that program in their local market, usually defined by a station's Nielsen Designated Market Area. As a result, any airings of the same program on cable networks and, more commonly, superstations must be blocked by the local cable provider upon request from the local station. ''Street Sharks'' is an American animated television series about the adventures of crime-fighting half-man/half-sharks. The series was produced by DIC Entertainment, DIC Productions, L.P. and Bohbot Entertainment and was initially Broadcast syndication, syndicated as part of the latter's ''Bohbot Kids Network, Amazin' Adventures'' programming block.
