Black Press Group Ltd. (BPG) is a Canadian commercial printer and newspaper publisher founded in 1975 by David Holmes Black. Based in Surrey, British Columbia, it was previously owned by the publisher of ''Toronto Star'' ( Torstar, 19.35%) and Black (80.65%). In March 2024, it was announced that Carpenter Media Group had completed its acquisition of the firm, in a deal that involved Canso Investment Counsel, Ltd. Yellowknife
Yellowknife is the capital, largest community, and the only city in the Northwest Territories, Canada. It is on the northern shore of Great Slave Lake, about south of the Arctic Circle, on the west side of Yellowknife Bay near the outlet of the Yellowknife River. Goldstream
Two different neighbourhoods located in Langford, British Columbia in Greater Victoria on southern Vancouver Island include the name Goldstream. Goldstream Meadows is a neighbourhood in the city of Langford, on the northwest outskirts of Greater Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. The community is located just west of Langford Lake and the Trans-Canada Highway and adjacent to the river of the same name, which was the scene of a small gold rush in the 1860s. At the turn of the century, the Lubbe Hydroelectric Plant was operated near Goldstream and created electricity by running high pressure drinking water through a turbine. Ashcroft is a village municipality that straddles the Thompson River in the Thompson Country region of south central British Columbia, Canada.
