Bigg Boss Kannada
''Bigg Boss Kannada (BBK)'' is the Kannada version of the reality TV show ''Bigg Boss'', which is broadcast in India through Colors Kannada channel. The show is produced by Endemol Shine India, who owns the global format of '' Big Brother''. Kiccha Sudeepa was hired to host the reality show in 2013 for the first season on ETV Kannada (now Colors Kannada). Later, he continued as a host of the show. Sudeep Sanjeev (born 2 September 1971), also known as Kichcha Sudeepa, is an Indian actor, director, producer, screenwriter, singer and television presenter, who primarily works in Kannada cinema. He has also worked in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil films. He is one of the highest paid actors of Kannada films and also featured in Forbes India's Celebrity 100 list since 2013. Bigg Boss Kannada Season 5
The fifth season of the Kannada-language version of Indian reality television series ''Bigg Boss'' premiered on 15 October 2017. Sudeep reprised his role as the host of the show. The finale of the season took place 28 January 2018, and rapper Chandan Shetty was declared the winner of the show and was awarded the prize money of 50 lakh. Sales representative Diwaker was voted the runner-up. Production Sudeep had signed a deal with the channel Colors Kannada to host the next five seasons starting from the previous season.
