Berwick Glacier
The Beardmore Glacier in Antarctica is one of the largest valley glaciers in the world, being long and having a width of . It descends about from the Antarctic Plateau to the Ross Ice Shelf and is bordered by the Commonwealth Range of the Queen Maud Mountains on the eastern side and the Queen Alexandra Range of the Central Transantarctic Mountains on the western. Its mouth is east of the Lennox-King Glacier. It is northwest of the Ramsey Glacier. Early exploration The glacier is one of the main passages through the Transantarctic Mountains to the great polar plateau beyond, and was one of the early routes to the South Pole despite its steep upward incline. Berwick Hotel
The Berwick Hotel is located on the northeast corner of Wheeling Avenue and Sixth Street in Cambridge, Ohio, United States and was built in 1887 for Colonel Joseph D. Taylor in the Second Empire style. History The plot of land where the Berwick Hotel was built was bought by Joseph Taylor in 1866. He built his house on the site and lived there until the 1880s when he moved into his Queen Anne style house on the other side of town. Berwick Bay is the section of the Lower Atchafalaya River in Louisiana from Morgan City north to Sixmile Lake.
