Baylor University is a Private university, private Baptist research university in Waco, Texas, United States. It was chartered in 1845 by the last Congress of the Republic of Texas. Baylor is the oldest continuously operating university in Texas and one of the first educational institutions west of the Mississippi River in the United States. The Baylor Bears are the athletic teams that represent Baylor University. The teams participate in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) as one of only three private school members of the Big 12 Conference. Baylor College of Medicine Academy at Ryan (BCMAR) is a magnet middle school in Houston Independent School District (HISD), located in the Third Ward, Houston, Texas. It is located in the former Ryan Middle School. It is in association with the Baylor College of Medicine. It is south of Downtown Houston, A press release stated that the school was to be modeled after the Michael E. DeBakey High School for Health Professions. History On April 11, 2012 the HISD board voted to establish the school. The HISD board approved the conversion of the Ryan Middle School building into a magnet school. Jyoti Malhan was selected as the founding principal of the school. The goal was to have at least 100 6th grade students upon its opening. Baylor School, commonly called Baylor, is a private school, private, coeducational college-preparatory school in Chattanooga, Tennessee, United States. Founded in 1893, the school's current campus comprises 690 acres and enrolls students in grades 6 to 12, including boarding students in grades 9 through 12. These students are served by Baylor's 148-member faculty, over two-thirds of whom hold advanced degrees, including nearly 40 adults who live on campus and serve as dorm parents. Baylor Cupp (born May 10, 2000) is an American professional football tight end. He played college football for the Texas A&M Aggies and for the Texas Tech Red Raiders. Early life Cupp attended high school at Brock. Coming out of high school, Cupp was rated as a five star recruit where he held offers from schools such as Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Texas and Texas A&M. Ultimately, Cupp decided to commit to play college football for the Texas A&M Aggies. College career Texas A&M During Cupp's first two seasons in 2019 and 2020, he did not appear in any games after suffering season ending injuries. In the 2021 season, Cupp made his collegiate debut appearing in ten games with one start, however he would not record a catch in the season.
